Man's Challenge

Every guy in history at one point or another has said "I could do that. Easy!" with a crowd of people behind him shaking their heads. The ego of so many men have made so many other men eat their words, pay the check, and take home leftovers for years of antagonizing taunts full of "I told you so" and "SEE!.....SEE!"

I can see it now, two cavemen sitting around a fire saying "of course I can pick up that burning log and balance it on my head." or two Englishmen in the 14th century saying "It’s not the rats ya bugger. It’s all this tea and crumpets, dare ya to touch the rat, give it a go then" Yes, I will admit over 100 percent of the time the dares are stupid, but a solid 18 percent end in injuries, 55 percent end in a lifelong story, 35 percent end in hurt pride on either side of the bet, and two percent change history. (Don’t check those numbers)

The guy that said "you Wright brothers are stupid, just take the train" probably died alone and wasn't invited to all of the epic Wright brother birthday parties full of hot flight attendants. How about the guy that said "lemme understand this, you bored with Cheetos so you think you gonna put cayenne pepper on some to make it better, that’s wack!" both evens have changed our world entirely.

From the shyest person to the loudest, we are all seeking dominance in anything that we truly appreciate. Maybe we're the only one in our circle of friends, but someone out there is just as excited about the topic as you. Whether it is just you and your friends testing yourselves, each of us tries to become the alpha dog in one area or another.

To Experience new things and challenging yourself is what makes life worthwhile. I want to to experience it all for myself so I can really tell people how it is. Some challenges will be dumb and mostly just for entertainment. But to be honest a lot of things in life are for just that reason. Either a tedious task that needs to be completed or something to help us get our kicks. Life’s a challenge, but only a man steps but to the plate and faces it.
